Wednesday morning it was a terrible weather to drive a car, especially when you are not used to doing it in the US. It had been snowing during the previous night and the roads became slick. When I parked my car – an El Camino, which I have borrowed from my cousin - at the parking place in front of Red Rocks Community College, I turned the car around and back it into a parking space. I succeeded too well. The El Camino was placed close to the car next to me - too close I think. Then I drove the car forwards, and a little to the right. When I wanted to stop the car to back it in again, it would not stop. It moved itself directly towards another parked car. I had to think fast: "Put the car in neutral and slowly turn the wheel to get the car free of the other car", I thought. I succeeded. I passed the parked car by a few centimeters from the front of the other car and found a parking bay far away from other cars. I would not try again to park close to another car.
